
The University of Kansas School of Business is recognized as one of the top twenty public business schools in the nation. The school faces many challenges in the current local, national and even global environments. Intense competition for students on national and international level drives the need for the school to offer online tools and features that help attract the best and brightest. Another challenge is to provide timely, relevant information to a widely dispersed audience, appealing to groups of people that have different interests, preferences, and requirements.
The school desired to re-launch its website and present an attractive, informational, affinity building, easily administered, and scalable presence that provides all targeted audiences, with information, educational opportunities, alumni calls to action, engaging activities and e-commerce features. Through these and other online initiatives, the school wanted to ultimately establish a relevant, continuously reaffirmed and distinctly interactive relationship with its different target audiences.

Digital Evolution Group first conducted meetings to prioritize the school’s organizational and marketing goals, general policies and tactics into a cohesive Internet Strategy. The objective of the Internet strategy was to provide a foundation on which all tactical plans for the development of the school’s online presence would be built. This was geared to allow the school to carry out its mission effectively and efficiently and to leverage the new website to its highest potential.
Digital Evolution Group next designed and developed an aesthetically pleasing and visually compelling School of Business website that is viewable on multiple platforms, resolutions and browsers. The solution leverages a database-driven content management solution to effectively control the wealth of information that resides within the website. The application features create unique one-to-one relationships with the school’s constituents, drive repeat visitations, enhance the institution’s “brand” awareness, affinity and in turn increase admission submissions, donations and employment opportunities for its graduates.
